The logs are placed on a bed of refractory cement for a realistic appearance. This log set requires a slope glaze burner (sold separately) and is for use with vent-free fireplaces.

    Fireplace Size Requirements: The fireplace's Middle Width must be at least 34 Inches and the Depth must be at least 14 Inches for this gas log set to fit. You can calculate the middle width of your firebox by measuring the width (left to right) approximately halfway back in the firebox.
